Our Story

The Green Valley Firefighters Foundation (GVFF) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to supporting the education of firefighters, employees, and dependents of the Santa Rita Fire District (formerly Green Valley Fire District). We continue this work with support from generous sponsors and donors.

Since 2018, GVFF has awarded more than $90,000 in scholarships to Santa Rita Fire District employees and their families. Fundraising proceeds support educational assistance and the Foundation’s programs.

Throughout the year, GVFF hosts events ranging from our annual formal gala to local restaurant fundraisers, concerts, pickleball and cornhole tournaments, and paint nights. Every event is an opportunity to support local firefighters, their families, and our community. Thank you for your support.
