Our Story

The Green Valley Firefighters Foundation is a 501c3 nonprofit dedicated to continuing the education of firefighters, employees, and dependents of the Santa Rita Fire District (formerly Green Valley Fire District). We can continue this endeavor with the assistance of many generous sponsors and donors.

 

The Foundation, as we refer to as GVFF, holds several fundraisers throughout the year. All of the proceeds raised go directly back to educational assistance. Since 2018, GVFF has been able to bestow more than $60,000.00 in scholarships to the employees and the families of the Santa Rita Fire District. This is all possible thanks to the monies raised from our sponsors as well as the public’s support of our events.

Our fundraising events range in size and vary from a large formal dinner and dancing gala to fundraising nights at local restaurants. We have also hosted concerts, pickleball and cornhole tournaments, as well as paint nights. There is always some way to support the Green Valley Firefighters Foundation, and we APPRECIATE YOUR SUPPORT!
